The waters of the lake, finally, are particularly rich in fish, thanks to the fact that a regional law prevents the navigation engine, with the exception of boat that performs seasonal service between the three centers of the basin: Bracciano, Trevignano Romano and Anguillara Sabazia. On the bottom of the lake many finds attest protohistoric settlements, such as near Vicarello (Middle Bronze), to Sposetta (Middle Bronze Age and Late Bronze), or to Vigna Grande that reaches the age of iron. Around Anguillara was found a Neolithic village of submerged, lived for about 500 years from 5700 to 5200 at.
